Job Title: Treatment Room Practice Nurse – Okehampton

Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.

Our client, a busy primary care practice in Okehampton, is recruiting a Treatment Room Practice Nurse. The role offers a supportive team, protected clinic time and genuine investment in your development.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold chronic disease management clinics with appropriate follow up.
- Perform cervical cytology and provide family planning advice.
- Administer vaccinations and manage cold chain compliance.
- Assess and treat minor injuries and wounds.
- Contribute to audits, protocols and infection control.
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse
- Recent experience in general practice
- Up to date with mandatory training and revalidation
- Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne
