About the Role

We are looking for an autonomous Urgent Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a supportive GP practice in Kirkmichael. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to run your own clinics seeing patients with acute and minor illness, with GP support on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
• Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
• Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
• Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.

Requirements

• NMC registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner
• Recent primary care or urgent care experience
• Independent prescriber with a current portfolio
• Excellent communication and decision making skills
